Recommended Actions
Excessive fines content in regrind.
• Reduce regrind content.
• Check granulator blade sharpness and clearance.
• Check for proper hole size in granulator screen.
• Install or clean existing fines separation system.
Contamination
• Purge head and clean machine hopper.
• Inspect machine hopper and the entire material handling system for
cleanliness.
• Review material handling procedures with material handler.
• Check for material of different type mixed into resin.
